The Superbeams are a Nashville, TN/ Dayton, Ohio duo featuring longtime friends Shawn Cruze and Mark Keller. Self released in a limited form in 2007, this 5 song EP has recieved comparisons to Killdozer, Superchunk, and Pavement, Helmet, and Blue Cheer. All 5 tracks blister just like a Superbeams live show. "I Love" and "Graces" are positively smoking and "Highest of Highs" bounces like Spoon on a bad meth trip. Live favorite "Wizard" features a Cruze drum solo, who plays keyboards and sings on the record as well. And the great front cover of our beloved George W. Bush, along with "Big Dummy" will go down as a classic in the years to come. Smiling Handshake is proud to announce the re-release of this record.
